Bong kitties, anyone?

I've decided to start keeping this blog current in an attempt to rid my mind of some of these insane stories I've been finding myself exposed to as of late. Actually, every night, because I am starting to realize that the news out there that we don't always hear about is sometimes the most unsettling, or at the very least a tad bizarre.

I'm not likely to be able to extricate this story from my mind anytime soon:

Shadow the Bong Kitty

There is a video accompanying this story folks, and it includes close-ups of the actual homemade bong that the kitten was stuffed inside. Now, it is one thing to hear about people blowing marijuana smoke into an animal's face, but quite another to trap one inside an enclosed area with no air, only smoke.

I guess I should start saying Only in Nebraska -- at least until a new insanity crosses my path tonight.
